The Alton High School Girls Golf Team will begin summer practice starting June 7th @10 am at Rolling Hills Golf Course. If you are attending summer school during those practice times, please let me know and you can start practicing when school lets out.
All skill levels are encouraged to play. This is a no cut sport!
We will work on all parts of the game to improve your skill level.

Summer practice will begin Tuesday June 7 from 9:00-10:30 at Glazebrook Park. Breakfast to follow.
There will be different locations and times to allow all runners an opportunity to make either the morning or evening runs.
Tuesday Practices are June 7, 14,21,28 July 5,12,19 AM practice 9:00-10:30
Wednesday Practices are June 8,15,22,29 July 6,13,19 6:00-8:00 pm at Alton High School CC course.
Thursday Practices will be held at AHS track for speed and agility work June 9,16,23,39 July 7,14,21 . From 6:30-8:00 PM

Mental tips to having a successful summer program
- Improve everyday
- Believe in yourself
- Keep a routine
- Replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts
- Repeat and practice your running rhythm
- Turn your weakness into your strength
It is important to get in summer mileage to have peak performance during the cross country season. On the days that we do not meet, it is important to put in mileage.
Some of you will be a member of the AHS cross country team for the 1st time and for some of you this will be your last season as an AHS cross country runner. Make it a year that you will always remember!! Show up and work hard
The coaches will communicate with you thru group me about any changes during the summer workouts.
