Smoothie King May Student-Athlete of the Month

Senior Colton Wendle is the Alton High School Smoothie King May Student-Athlete of the Month selection. Colton is an outstanding student-athlete who currently has a 4.21 GPA and has had straight A’s this spring semester. Colton has been a Varsity letter winner for 2 years in baseball and a relief pitcher this spring for Redbird Baseball. On the season in 16 innings he has a 1-1 record and 1.75 ERA. He recently was named a Silver Medallion and CTE Construction Trades Student of the Year. Colton is also a member of Redbird Nest, Alton Trap team (4 yrs), and a City Wide Clean-up volunteer.
